Minister Hoxha meets Ruth Huber, Head of SDC Swiss Agency, as she receives support for the integration processes

Prishtina, 7 November 2018 - Minister of European Integration, Dhurata Hoxha, hosted today in a meeting, Ruth Huber, Head of Department for Cooperation with Eastern Europe within the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).

Present at the meeting with SDC representatives were also Georgette Bruchez, Head of Division for the Western Balkans, Jean Hubert Lebet, Swiss Ambassador to Kosovo, and other collaborators from Switzerland.

Minister Hoxha highly praised the cooperation with Switzerland by emphasizing the current processes the country is going through, including the visa liberalization, the implementation of the SAA, reforms within the European Agenda and the economic reforms.

"Our cooperation with Swiss institutions has contributed to the well-being of Kosovo citizens, to strengthening the rule of law, implementing reforms, and increasing domestic production and employment, vocational education, environmental protection and other areas relevant to the integration process", said Minister Hoxha.

Mrs Huber, Head of Department for Cooperation with Eastern Europe within the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), stressed that Kosovo has marked progress in many areas, in particular with regard to comprehensive reforms and the integration process, adding that Switzerland supports Kosovo's integration into international institutions and the finalization of the integration process as soon as possible.
Minister Hoxha thanked Mrs Huber for the support while pointing out that the Euro-Atlantic integration of our country is inevitable considering the values of this integration, noting that Switzerland remains a strong ally of our state and statehood.
