Minister Çitaku to travel to Brussels to approximate Kosovo to European agenda priorities

Prishtina, 24 March 2011 – In her capacity as Minister for European Integration, Vlora Çitaku, is for the first time going officially visit Brussels, in order to push forward the European agenda and to gain the visa liberalization guide for Kosovo. Kosovo has accomplished all the necessary technical requirements to receive the guide.  


During her visit to Brussels, Minister Çitaku will meet with;
Enlargement Commissioner, Mr. Stefan Füle,
Deputy Director General for Enlargement at the European Commission, Mr. Stefano Sanino,
Member of the European Parliament and Rapporteur for Kosovo, Ms. Ulrike Lunacek,
Commission for Internal Affairs and Trade, and 
EU member states’ cabinets in order to advance Kosovo’s European agenda and receive the visa liberalization guide.  


In this official trip, Minister Çitaku will be accompanied by Secretary General of the Ministry for European Integration Mr. Edon Cana and the head of the Parliamentary Commission for European Integration Mr. Lutfi Haziri.
